In recent years KOODESIGN has increasingly played a role in designing products that benefit health and wellbeing, including innovative face masks and air purification robots (like Whiz Gambit).
In our first project for Hathaspace, we built on our experience in air purification to create smart HEPA air purifiers for the home. Hathaspace’s beliefs align with ours, with our shared focus on balance, harmony and principles. Hathaspace aims to improve health and wellness by creating harmony between home environments and living spaces.
This design project Hathaspace Harmony 1500 HEPA was very much a case of using design to solve problems in intuitive ways – while also ensuring that we maintained a sense of “harmony”. Part of this involved altering the glow-light (which responds to air quality), to ensure it wasn’t intrusive at night (making sure there was no irritating blinking).
Fins and vents on both sides maintain a smooth profile that doesn’t disrupt the form factor. The shape tapers towards the bottom, making the footprint lighter and providing balance with the top. Meanwhile the colors provide a warmer tone to match interiors, providing a true sense of harmony within the living space.
