As specialists in audio design and engineering, we always embrace the chance to use our expertise in new and interesting ways.
That was the case with the Cadence Aviation Pilot Headset – a special headphone concept for recreational private jet pilots. The Cadence headset had unique requirements, which meant leveraging our experience designing sporting goods and other specialist headphones. Industrial durability was a must, and much like anything engineered for NASA, each component must be doubled up as a failsafe precaution.
All wiring for each left-right channel needs to be separated to protect mission-critical components, and other safety features to meet the advanced needs of a pilot.
