KOODESIGN’s work on the Model io+ Zatori e-scooter continues a growing e-transport evolution towards clean power vehicles.
While automotive design typically has more of an industrial design approach, when it comes to EVs the design mindset becomes more like product design, with a consumer focus. This was our approach with the Zatori e-scooter – emphasizing the functional and aesthetics to balance urban mobility innovation with user-friendly interfaces and functionality.
For our work on the Zatori e-scooter, KOODESIGN’s design system adopts a modern utility language that prioritizes the user experience while capturing a sleek urban aesthetic. This is visible in the flared rear section, which not only offers improved foot protection, but also provides more step room. Furthering this approach, the e-scooter features a seamless construction that eliminates the need for welding, contributing to its sleek form. Hidden wires enhance the design, giving the e-scooter a streamlined and simplified appearance for stylish urban transport.
